1 october 1967 to uss mullinnix dd944 at rodman, canal zone.
Gyatt broke down there. we were there about35 days before
relieved by mullinnix to continue unitas VIII cruise around
south america. about 40 transferred to mullinnix.

Watching the first Terrier to Launcher loading test at the shipyard after conversion to DDG-712.
The wings of the bird sheared off after hitting the bottom of the missile house blast door (with the shipyard Admiral watching).
